Around 200 employees at Contiweb in Boxmeer and Durham (USA) work daily on the success of its products and services. Due to the emigration of one of our colleagues, our R&D department is looking for a:

PROCESS ENGINEER

What are you going to do?

As a Process Engineer you fulfill a key-position in a multidisciplinair team. You are responsible for the process side of the designing and (dis) developing of a product or enhancement, both with regard to existing and future equipment. You are able, together with the Mechanical, Electrical and Software Engineers, to translate an idea into a concrete design. You make all the necessary technical calculations and write functional specifications. You generate new ideas and developments and you analyse and solve process-related problems at the machine. You are responsible for designing and performing measurements and tests on test stands as well as on machines and production lines. This happens both in our factory in Boxmeer and on location at customers worldwide. In this broad function you will come into contact with multiple technologies and have a direct influence on the key processes in the company.

What do we ask of you?

  • You have an academic work and level in the direction of measurements and control technology and/or hot mechanical engineering/ thermodynamics
  • You have several years of experience in mechanical construction, experience in the graphic industry is an advantage
    You have conceptual and analytical skills and you have the ability to translate concepts into practical solutions through a pragmatic approach
  • You are result-oriented and can function both independently and in a team
  • Contact with clients in an international playing field appeals to you and you are willing to travel regularly and have good skills in English and German, both verbal and written
  • You are creative, flexible, proactive and a team player. You dare to make decisions and are able to deal with varying workloads, schedules and priorities. You have a practical hands-on mentality and you find it important to continue to develop yourself in terms of content and personal development
